The Code of Ethics and Good Practice for Children's Sport in Ireland is for the benefit of everyone involved in children's

sport - children, parents/guardians, and Sports Leaders, etc. By following the principles, policy, and practice guidelines contained in the Code, adult sport leaders are playing their part in providing an enjoyable and safe environment in which children can learn and thrive. As a club, Newbridge Hockey Club has a responsibility to protect children from harm and to abide by government guidelines.

Anna, our Junior Co-ordinator is one of our Club Children's Officers (CCO's) alongside Elaine ("Coxy") and Orla. 

Elaine is our club Designated Liaison Person (DLP).  Between them they manage all activities and issues in relation to young people at our club.   They can be contacted on newbridgehockeyclub@outlook.ie

The Designated Liaison Person is responsible for reporting any concern regarding the protection of our junior members to the relevant statutory authorities.  More information available from the Leinster Hockey website
